Julie Morrison
Director of University Events
La Salle University
Julie oversees 200 plus events each year as the Director of University Events at La Salle University. She is responsible for all University Advancement receptions and dinners, presidential events, homecoming, reunion, alumni club events, academic award ceremonies, family weekend, convocations and commencement.
She is co-chair of the 150th Anniversary Committee. As La Salle prepares to celebrate its Sesquicentennial Celebration during the 2012-2013 school-year, she will manage all events occurring during the year.
In her 6 years at La Salle University, she has implemented several new event management modules, including university-wide scheduling and an online calendar. From groundbreakings to holding Baccalaureate on-campus, she has created a solid events department at the University.
Julie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Public Relations from Susquehanna University and a certificate in Meeting and Event Management from Northeastern University.
She is an avid runner and triathlete. In her spare time, she is also the Events Director for the Bryn Mawr Running Club, a 400-person club running in the Philadelphia area.
