Melissa Robinson

St. Edward's University

Born in the Deep South, Melissa is no stranger to hospitality; so moving into the event industry was a natural fit. She started her event career in Fayetteville, North Carolina serving as the Director of University Media Relations and Events at Methodist University. Currently, Melissa is the Special Events Coordinator for St. Edward’s University. She specializes in anniversary celebrations and higher education marketing campaigns. She is currently serves on the board for Austin Chapter of the International Special Events Society (ISES) as the VP of Membership and President-elect. She holds a Bachelor of Arts  degree in Journalism from the University of Mississippi and a Master of Business Administration degree from St. Edward’s University. In her free time, Melissa enjoys traveling, running, spending time with her friends and Golden Retriever, Phoenix, and teaching boot camps at St. Edward’s University.
