Susan Hopkins is the Director of University Advancement Events at California State University Bakersfield. In this role, Hopkins is the primary lead on planning and coordinating the event logistics for all university advancement, presidential, alumni and Commencement events. Hopkins also worked in the non-profit industry in event and program management for USA Water Polo, Team Prime Time and AYSO. She also worked in the hospitality industry with experience in hotel management and special event catering. Hopkins earned her BA in recreation management from CSU San Diego and a Masters in sports management from CSU Long Beach.
